Project 52 Rules
I’m going to try to keep this simple. Each contest will run for one month. Each week of that month you can submit one entry. You submit to that week by posting a picture to Instagram, tagging the studio and using the relevant hashtags. Each picture should be a picture taken that week.
You will score:
One point for your weekly submission
One point if the Opelika Art Factory IG account likes the image
One point if it’s an image you shot in the studio
Two points if we select it as the image of the week
Two points if you submit an image every week that month
Whoever has the most points at the end of the month wins the prize. All the prizes are related to photography but they are all pretty sizable, for example November’s prize is a $200 gift certificate to Cameragraphics, where you can finally get that piece of kit you’ve been dreaming off. December’s prize is going to be a $500 credit for studio time. It’s always something in that theme.
Other rules:
Only studio members can win. So go here to get your absolutely free membership.
All prizes must be picked up in person at the studio. If you don’t live near here I don’t know that you will want to compete but you are welcome to.
Prizes are not transferable or saleable.
Your entries should be shot the week of the contest. Entering work shot prior to that week will disqualify you from future OAF contests and may result in termination of your membership.
Prizes will only be awarded if there are at least 10 different nonemployees entered in the contest.
